Moorim Ranked 1st in Paper Brand Satisfaction for Second Consecutive Year

The ‘Korea First Brand Awards’ is the country’s largest brand award with a 21-history that recognizes the best brands in each category through direct consumer participation and evaluation. In particular, more than 410,000 consumers participated in this year’s consumer evaluation survey, and Moorim received the highest score for brand satisfaction in the paper category, winning the award for the second consecutive year.
This result is likely due to the company’s efforts to develop a variety of eco-friendly products that can be utilized in various fields based on its unrivaled technology, such as biodegradable paper cups and recyclable paper buffers. Moreover, the company recently developed Korea’s first paper packaging pouch for frozen food and applied it to ice creams and frozen tuna, and took the lead in replacing plastic straws with paper straws at food and beverage outlets in general cafes and high-end hotels, attracting a lot of attention for combining paper with various industries.
In addition, the company’s active communication with the public to convey the various values of paper beyond product sales seems to have had a positive impact. Last year, the company collaborated with Shinsegae Starfield to organize the industry’s first B2C event – the Paper Experience Zone – which received a great response and partnered with the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Asia’s largest genre film festival, to replace the food and beverage containers used at the festival with biodegradable paper products, thereby setting a new standard for an eco-friendly film festival.
Meanwhile, Moorim plans to get a step closer to the general consumers by launching a new copy paper brand ‘M COPY’ in the first half of this year.
